Stainless Steel Lifting Ring Screw

The 304 stainless steel lifting eye bolt is a lifting and fastening component made of austenitic 304 stainless steel (containing 18% chromium and 8% nickel). Its core features are as follows:
1. Corrosion and Rust Resistance
Its surface passivation film provides excellent rust protection in general atmospheric and mild chemical environments, making it suitable for damp and clean conditions. However, its corrosion resistance is inferior to 316 stainless steel in high-chloride environments (e.g., seawater).
2. Moderate Strength
Its mechanical strength is sufficient for routine lifting needs. The product is clearly marked with the Working Load Limit (WLL) and offers good toughness.
3. Clean and Hygienic
The material is non-toxic, easy to clean, and disinfect, making it widely used in industries with strict hygiene requirements such as food, pharmaceuticals, and medical equipment.
4. Aesthetic and Practical
It has a bright silver finish, often polished, balancing functionality and appearance.
5. Non-Magnetic and Cryogenic Resistance
It is essentially non-magnetic in the solution-annealed state, suitable for precision instruments and medical devices. It maintains good toughness at low temperatures.
Usage Notes:
Overloading is strictly prohibited. Use only within the WLL and avoid side pulls.
Install correctly. Ensure full thread engagement and tighten to the specified torque.
Environmental limits. Avoid prolonged use in high-chloride or high-temperature (>425°C) environments.
Inspect regularly. Replace immediately if cracks, deformation, or thread damage are found.
Summary: It is a versatile lifting component that balances corrosion resistance, hygiene, and aesthetics, suitable for most general and clean applications. Harsher environments may require higher-grade materials.
